An international forum aimed at supporting the recovery of Ukraine and discussing its European future will be held in Vilnius, organized by the Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) Ukrainian Center. The event is designed to bring together representatives from government institutions, experts, and members of the academic community to discuss practical steps for Ukraine’s recovery across various sectors, such as energy, public governance, euro-integration, and demographic challenges. A significant emphasis will be placed on transitioning from short-term assistance to long-term partnership between Ukraine and Lithuania.
The forum is expected to host notable figures including Lithuania's First Lady Diana Nausėdienė, Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, and Olha Nikitčenko, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Lithuania. It will also feature a greeting from Olena Zelenska, the First Lady of Ukraine, further highlighting the importance of this event in fostering international cooperation. The agenda includes two panel discussions that will focus on scenarios for Ukraine's recovery, international partnerships, and the path towards euro-integration.
