The National Coalition of Yemeni Parties, which includes 22 political factions, has reacted to recent events in Aden, Yemen, stating that protecting state institutions and maintaining security is a collective national responsibility. The coalition expressed sorrow over casualties that emerged from protests in the city, emphasizing that peaceful expression is a constitutionally guaranteed right. However, they warned that any escalation outside the legal framework could jeopardize political solutions during this sensitive period.
Additionally, during this tense time, Major General Falah Al-Shahrani, advisor to the commander of the Support for Legitimacy Coalition, met with several sheikhs and dignitaries from Radhafan in the temporary capital of Aden. The coalition highlighted a notable improvement in services in Aden and called for the preservation of these gains. As the situation evolves, the coalition’s stance reflects a commitment to lawfulness while seeking to improve the conditions for residents in Aden amid ongoing political challenges in Yemen.
