Two homicide suspects in a tourist street in Fortaleza are arrested

Two additional suspects involved in a homicide in Fortaleza were arrested, raising the total number of arrests to three.

Two men, aged 30 and 24, were arrested on Friday in connection with a homicide that occurred on Rua dos Tabajaras, a tourist area in Fortaleza, in November 2025. The older suspect has a criminal record for homicide, illegal possession of firearms, drug trafficking, and drug use. A previous suspect was arrested on January 27 in downtown Fortaleza and had an outstanding arrest warrant at the time of capture.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, was found dead on Rua dos Tabajaras in the Praia de Iracema district, a popular tourist area, on November 17, 2025.
