Rio das Flores receives Mobile Justice from TRE next week
Rio das Flores will host the Mobile Justice initiative from TRE-RJ from February 24 to 26 to facilitate access to electoral services.
Rio das Flores, located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, will be hosting the Mobile Justice program from the Regional Electoral Court of Rio de Janeiro (TRE-RJ) from February 24 to 26. This initiative aims to provide easier access to electoral services for residents, particularly because the city lacks a permanent electoral service location. The services will be held at the CIEP 298 Manuel Duarte in the town center, and eight service counters will be available for local citizens.
The TRE-RJ emphasizes that residents must bring a government-issued photo ID and a proof of residence issued within the last 90 days to utilize these services. Additionally, the court has made it easier for voters to check their registration status, including whether their biometrics are collected and if their electoral titles are active or canceled. This can be accomplished through the TRE-RJ's website or via phone at (21) 3436-9000.
This Mobile Justice initiative is part of a larger effort by TRE-RJ to improve voting access across the state, with services available until May 6th. The program reflects an ongoing commitment to ensuring that all citizens have access to critical electoral resources, particularly in underserved areas like Rio das Flores, thus promoting participation in the electoral process.
