On Friday morning, the Civil Police of Artur Nogueira, São Paulo, arrested a man believed to be an accomplice in the feminicide of Naiara de Souza Lopes. The arrested individual is the brother of Ricardo Machado de Souza, identified as the primary suspect in the crime. According to police reports, on the day of the murder, Ricardo fled the scene in his car, later abandoning it before being helped by his brother, who took him to an undisclosed location. Police have seized the vehicle used in the crime, along with mobile phones belonging to the family, and the brother's detention is temporary, lasting 30 days.
