A special court in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, has delivered a landmark verdict by sentencing a couple to death for their heinous crimes against 33 minor children. The judgement was announced on a Friday following an extensive investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The POCSO special judge emphasized that the crimes were particularly egregious and premeditated, necessitating the harshest punishment available under the law to serve justice to the victims and act as a deterrent for similar future offences.
