A fraud case involving 1.4 million rupees has emerged in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, leveraging the celebrity status of Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh.
In Azamgarh district, Uttar Pradesh, a significant fraud case has come to light involving the popular Bhojpuri singer and actor Pawan Singh. Reports indicate that a group of individuals deceived a local artist into believing they could secure Pawan Singh for a large musical show, extracting a hefty sum of 1.4 million rupees under false pretenses. The local police department at Atraulia has registered a case against four accused individuals and has commenced an investigation into the matter.
SP City Madhuvan Kumar Singh confirmed that the complainant is Divyansh Singh, also known as Kabir, who is a professional music artist from Gajanjpur village in Amethi district. Living in Lucknow, he organizes musical band shows and performs guitar at various clubs and restaurants. At an event, he crossed paths with two individuals, Mohammad Khursheed Ahmed and a woman named Tina, where they devised a plan to stage a major music show featuring Pawan Singh as the main attraction, leading to the fraud.
Divyansh reportedly sought the help of his acquaintance Nihal Singh, who facilitated the connection with the accused, convincing him to part with millions under the assurance that the show featuring Pawan Singh was a sure thing. This case not only highlights the vulnerability of individuals in the entertainment industry to fraudulent schemes but also raises concerns about the precautions necessary when dealing with show bookings involving celebrity figures.
