A six-member group of eighteen-year-old friends from Palanga, consisting of Andrius, Eimantas, Rokas, Mindaugas, Marius, and Martynas, has turned a simple act of kindness into a nationwide phenomenon on social media. Their initiative started spontaneously when they came together to shovel their own yards and then decided to extend their help to elderly residents who might struggle with such tasks. This simple act aimed to support seniors and alleviate their burdens has resonated widely, attracting around 27,000 likes and nearly a thousand shares within just a few days of posting about their plan.

The idea came from an unplanned, organic discussion among friends as they worked together. Andrius shared with 15min that the group recognized the potential impact of their labor, not just for their community but for elderly individuals who might be in need.
