A Journey Around the World... in 10 Sundays

An educational program at the Goulandris Natural History Museum, titled “A Journey Around the World... in 10 Sundays,” is aiming to engage children in exploring various ecosystems from February to October 2026.

The Goulandris Natural History Museum in Greece is launching an educational initiative for young children aged 2-6 called “A Journey Around the World... in 10 Sundays,” which will take place over ten Sundays from February to October 2026. This program, supported by the Sani/Ikos hotel group, will include a series of 20 interactive workshops centered around the museum's latest exhibition, "Biodiversity: Everything is Connected."

Through these workshops, children will be taken on a fantastic adventure, exploring diverse ecosystems ranging from savannahs and jungles to Greek forests, oceans, and even the age of dinosaurs. The sessions will utilize storytelling, creative play, and interactive activities to help children learn about the interconnections between species and environments, emphasizing the importance of balance in nature and the protection of biodiversity.

This program not only aims to educate young minds about the natural world but also to foster a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation. By engaging children in practical and imaginative experiences, the museum hopes to instill an appreciation for biodiversity and encourage future generations to safeguard our planet's precious ecosystems.
