Condominium manager who killed real estate agent shared recordings from only three of the ten surveillance cameras, police say
The condominium manager Cléber Rosa de Oliveira, suspected of killing real estate agent Daiane Alves Souza, only shared footage from three out of ten surveillance cameras, according to police.
Cléber Rosa de Oliveira, the condominium manager charged with the murder of real estate agent Daiane Alves Souza, reportedly provided footage from only three of the building's ten surveillance cameras, as revealed by delegate André Luiz Barbosa. This incident occurred in Caldas Novas, where the victim went to the building's basement to restore her apartment's power.
Oliveira has confessed to the murder and is currently in custody. His defense claims they have not been granted access to all the documents recently added to the investigation, particularly the final report, and they intend to respond only after reviewing the complete evidence. This has raised concerns about transparency in the ongoing investigation.
According to the police, while all eleven cameras in the building were operational, only ten were connected to the Digital Video Recorder (DVR), with one recording via a memory card. Following a request for the complete footage, Oliveira hired a third-party service to retrieve the surveillance images but only provided a limited selection, sparking suspicion regarding his cooperation with the investigation.
