Igoris Molotkovas was convicted by the Vilnius City District Court for the robbery and unintentional killing of a foreigner, resulting in a three-year prison sentence. The court also ordered him to pay over 7,000 euros in damages to the victim's family.

In a violent act, he pressed the victim’s head down, strangled him, and attempted to steal his belongings. After the robbery, the attacker fled the scene, leaving the victim suffering from serious injuries, which ultimately led to his death.
