Now booking for Baba Mahakal’s 'Sandhya' and 'Shayan' Aarti will be available from home

Devotees can now book slots for the evening and night Aarti at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple online to improve convenience and transparency.

The renowned Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple management in India has enhanced its digitization efforts for the benefit of devotees. Starting now, online booking is mandatory to participate in the Sandhya (evening) and Shayan (night) Aarti, similar to the existing system for the Bhasma Aarti. This initiative aims to bring transparency to the temple management and curtail the involvement of intermediaries.

With this new system, pilgrims from both domestic and international locations will be able to secure their participation from the comfort of their homes through an official website. Online bookings for the Sandhya Aarti will commence daily at 12 PM, while reservations for the Shayan Aarti will open at 4 PM, each with a fee of 250 rupees per participant similar to the expedited entry for devotees. The booking process will be operated on a 'first-come, first-served' basis.

Additionally, entry rules and time limits are clearly defined. Only devotees who have made prior bookings will be allowed entry through gate number 1, ensuring organized access and a smooth experience at the temple. This system is set to transform how devotees engage with one of India's most celebrated religious sites, enhancing their overall temple experience while promoting fairness in access.
