However, this warming trend brings with it the inevitable transition from snow to rain, as temperatures rise significantly across the free state.

Currently, snowfall is retreating to the Alps, and areas in the eastern and northern parts of Bavaria may enjoy a relatively pleasant day with intermittent sunshine. However, weather patterns will shift as clouds move in from the west, bringing with them the first signs of rainfall. Maximum temperatures for the day are predicted to range between 1 to 5 degrees Celsius.

As the night approaches, the chances of increased rainfall grow, particularly affecting the eastern low mountain ranges where snowfall could still occur even at lower altitudes. The DWD has warned of potential slipperiness and glaze ice conditions, urging residents to exercise caution.
