'The previous government made noise, our government works...', said CM Rekha Gupta
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta highlighted the achievements of her government in a press conference marking one year since the BJP took office in Delhi.
In a press conference held at the Delhi Secretariat on the completion of one year of the BJP government in Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, accompanied by her cabinet ministers, presented a report card showcasing the administration's achievements. The conference included a video presentation detailing the government's initiatives in health, cleanliness of the Yamuna river, investment, education, and other areas, emphasizing a visible transformation in Delhi over the last year.
Gupta stated that the cabinet is committed to developing Delhi without making excuses for progress, contrasting her administration's focus on work with the previous government's tendency to create noise. She indicated the change in work culture under her leadership, advocating for a collective approach to politics in the capital. The report card revealed that over 30,000 individuals have benefited from the Ayushman scheme, and 370 new Arogya Mandirs (health temples) have been established.
The presentation of the report card and statements from Gupta signify not only a reflection of the government's progress but also a political statement aimed at solidifying the BJP's position in Delhi. By highlighting specific achievements and a new collaborative politics framework, the government seeks to demonstrate its effectiveness and distinguish itself from past administrations, potentially influencing public perception ahead of future elections.
