The incident occurred on a busy street, where the vehicle veered off course, struck a pickup truck, and just missed Rios, who was standing on the sidewalk. Fortunately, he only sustained minor scrapes from the accident.

Rios shared his experience, recounting how he was heading towards a local festival, the Bloco do Boi Bumbá, when he heard the screeching tires and realized the car was heading directly towards him. In a split-second decision, he attempted to evade the vehicle. Despite his efforts, he lost his balance and fell, but he managed to escape with only minor injuries, expressing gratitude for avoiding a more serious fate.
