Former British Prince Andrew was arrested on Thursday under suspicion of committing a white-collar crime, and after several hours, he was released. The Thames Valley Police announced that they were still investigating Andrew even after his release, having concluded a search of his residence at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. However, searches continued at his former residence, 'Royal Lodge', located in Windsor, Berkshire.

The police had indicated earlier this month that they were investigating claims that Andrew had allegedly transferred confidential government documents to American financier Jeffrey Epstein, based on recently released documents. Andrew was seen on Thursday evening sitting in the back seat of a car as he left the Elyshire police station in Norfolk, raising public interest and media scrutiny.

The former prince has denied any wrongdoing and expressed regret over his association with Epstein. However, he has not responded to specific requests for comments following the release of the latest Epstein documents by the U.S. government, leading to questions about his involvement and potential repercussions from these allegations.
