The Public Ministry of Amazonas announced the indictment of Felipe Júnior, a former performer of the traditional Boi Garantido festival, for sexually abusing his own daughter, who is currently 10 years old. The case, which has garnered attention, was reported by the local media and involves allegations of abuse that began when the girl was just 6. The legal representative handling the case, Promoter André Marinho, signed the formal charges on October 19, revealing the seriousness of the crime and the public outrage it has incited.

According to the prosecutors, the horrific incidents began when the victim was at a pool with her father, during which he allegedly touched her inappropriately. The young girl reported that after the incident, Felipe attempted to manipulate her further by buying sweets to ensure her silence from her mother. The disturbing nature of the allegations has led to significant public concern over the safety and protection of children in vulnerable situations, especially within the family environment.

In addition to the initial charges, the prosecutor’s report indicates that Felipe continued to harass the victim over digital platforms, sending her explicit messages and videos even after the abuse was reported to law enforcement.
