Abandoned her 2-year-old goldendoodle dog at Las Vegas airport to board her flight: excuse and change for the pet
A woman was arrested for abandoning her 2-year-old goldendoodle at the Las Vegas airport after being told she could not board her flight without proper service dog documentation.
On February 2, a woman was apprehended at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas for leaving her 2-year-old goldendoodle at the JetBlue ticket counter. She arrived around midnight and attempted to check in with her pet, wanting to bring the dog onto the flight. However, airport regulations required that she present valid service dog documentation, which she did not have. After being informed that she couldn't take her dog on the plane, she decided to abandon it. The Metropolitan Police Department of Las Vegas reported that the unidentified woman tied the dog's leash to the ticket counter before heading to the departure gate, disregarding the instructions she had just received.
