General Jasper Gievers, the commander of the International Stabilization Force in Gaza, revealed the commitment of five countries to provide troops for the mission during a meeting at the Peace Council in Washington. The supporting nations include Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, and Albania. Indonesia, as the most populous Muslim-majority country, has been offered the position of deputy commander of the force, an opportunity that was accepted by the Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. Indonesia has expressed readiness to send up to 8,000 military personnel to Gaza, contingent upon the confirmation of the force's deployment, which aims to mobilize a total of 20,000 personnel. The targeted deployment will commence in Rafah, southern Gaza, focusing initially on training local police before gradually expanding to other areas.
