Feminicide of Ivón Maricela in CDMX: Agustín ‘N’ linked to the process as the alleged responsible party

Authorities in Mexico City have linked Agustín ‘N’ to the feminicide of Ivón Maricela, who went missing on March 30, 2025.

In Mexico City, the Attorney General's Office has apprehended Agustín ‘N’, linking him to the feminicide of Ivón Maricela, a young woman who was reported missing on March 30, 2025. Investigations reveal that Ivón was last seen leaving her home on a bicycle, which was later found outside a property owned by Agustín, located in the Pedregal de Santo Domingo neighborhood of Coyoacán.

Moreover, police investigations indicate that Ivón entered the property in the company of two other women and did not return. Tragically, her body was discovered on March 31 in Morelos, after which the authorities launched further inquiries. On April 2, the Police of Investigation executed a search warrant at the location associated with Agustín, leading to the arrest of Yuliana ‘N’ and Luisa ‘N’, identified as the women who accompanied Ivón on the day she went missing.

This case highlights ongoing concerns around gender-based violence in Mexico, where feminicides continue to be a significant issue. The arrest of Agustín ‘N’ and others involved underscores the legal system's efforts to address such crimes, as the community demands justice and accountability for the increasing rates of violence against women.
