Inditex will pay up to 1,500 euros extra to almost 30,000 store employees for meeting objectives in 2025

Inditex plans to pay up to 1,500 euros in extra incentives to nearly 30,000 of its store employees in Spain for achieving performance targets for 2025.

Inditex, the parent company of brands like Zara, is set to distribute an extraordinary incentive of up to 1,500 euros to around 30,000 of its store employees in Spain, linked to their performance achievements for the fiscal year ending January 31, 2025. This incentive payment aims to reward commercial performance, reflecting the company's strategy to motivate its workforce in a competitive retail environment.

According to the company's sources, more than 99% of Inditex's stores in Spain qualified for an incentive that is equal to or higher than the one given in the previous year. Particularly noteworthy is that over half of these stores exceeded their sales goals, which allows them to apply for the maximum incentive of 1,500 euros gross. For employees working part-time (under 24 hours a week), the gross incentive amount is set at 900 euros.

Moreover, Inditex has communicated to its store staff that this extraordinary incentive will continue into the 2026 fiscal year, with a 3% increase in the incentive amount. This move not only aims to enhance employee satisfaction and retention but also highlights Inditex's commitment to fostering competitive performance among its workforce, which is critical for maintaining its market position in the evolving retail sector.
