South American country receives two new A-29 Super Tucano

Uruguay's Air Force has received the first A-29 Super Tucano aircraft as part of its efforts to enhance aerial protection and capabilities.

Embraer, the Brazilian aerospace company, has delivered the first A-29 Super Tucano aircraft to the Uruguayan Air Force (FAU), marking a significant milestone in the modernization of Uruguay's military capabilities. This acquisition is part of a broader strategy to improve airspace protection and border security, showcasing a commitment to enhanced defense. Bosco da Costa Junior, Embraer's president and CEO, expressed pride in this delivery, highlighting over 50 years of partnership between the company and Uruguay.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Uruguayan Air Force, Fernando Colina, asserted that the introduction of these aircraft would represent a significant operational and technological advance for the FAU.
