Unesp 2026: the list of the fourth call of approved candidates in the entrance exam is released
The State University of São Paulo (Unesp) has announced the fourth call for candidates in four selection processes for its undergraduate programs starting in 2026.
The State University of São Paulo (Unesp) released the fourth call for approved candidates on Thursday, September 19, as part of four different selection processes: Unesp's entrance exam, the Provão Paulista Seriado, Unesp-Enem, and the Scientific Olympiad Selection Process. This announcement marks a critical point as the university opens up 7,981 vacancies for students aspiring to enter undergraduate programs in the upcoming academic year of 2026. The selection strategies demonstrate the university's commitment to accommodating a diverse student body through various entrance pathways.
Starting from the fourth call, the registration for the selected candidates will take place virtually over two days—September 19 and 20. Prospective students can complete their registration either through the official Vunesp website or directly through Unesp’s Graduation System (Sisgrad). This streamlined process reflects efforts to make higher education more accessible and efficient for students in anticipation of the new academic session.
Unesp emphasizes inclusivity by implementing a Reserve System for Students from Public Basic Education, which allocates 50% of the available spots in each undergraduate course for students who completed their secondary education in public schools. Furthermore, a significant 35% of these slots are specifically reserved for individuals who self-identify as Black, Brown, or Indigenous. This initiative not only aims to enhance diversity within the student population but also seeks to elevate educational opportunities for underrepresented groups in Brazilian society.
