A shocking incident has emerged from Chitalav village in Kheda, Gujarat, raising serious questions about the safety of students in schools. The accused teacher, Shailesh Rathwa, who was supposed to nurture the students' futures, instead exploited his position to ruin a young girl's life. The victim recounted that since she was in 8th grade, the teacher had a predatory gaze on her, and after she completed her 8th grade, she moved to Savli for further studies, but the relentless harassment from the teacher did not stop.

What began as inappropriate teasing escalated into severe sexual assault, with the teacher threatening to circulate the victim’s photos to silence her. Living in fear, the student ultimately found the courage to confide in her family about the horrific ordeal she faced. The revelation left her family in shock, prompting them to take immediate legal action against the teacher. They filed a formal complaint, highlighting the urgent need for justice in cases of such nature.

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Dakor police registered a case against Shailesh Rathwa under various sections of the POCSO Act and for rape. Notably, the police discovered that the accused had not been attending school for the past 7 to 8 days, raising concerns about his evasion.
