Two days before, one participant of the KMT sniper competition is changing

Due to an injury sustained during the game against Kaunas 'Žalgiris', Kedainiai 'Nevėžis-Loan Club' defender Nedas Montvila will not participate in the competition, and will be replaced by Trent McLaughlin.

Nedas Montvila, a defender for Kedainiai 'Nevėžis-Loan Club', has been sidelined from the upcoming KMT sniper competition due to an injury he incurred during a recent match against Kaunas 'Žalgiris'. His absence in the competition, which is set to take place on February 21 at the Šiauliai Arena, will be felt as he had been a notable participant.

In his stead, Kedainiai's Trent McLaughlin will step in. McLaughlin, a foreign player on the team, has made headlines for his impressive shooting ability, particularly from long range, achieving a shooting percentage of 37.6% with 41 successful three-pointers out of 109 attempts this season. His sharpshooting skills have made him a fan favorite, and this change will bring a fresh dynamic to the contest.

As the competition approaches, the significance of McLaughlin's participation becomes apparent. He is currently among the top three players in the league for the number of three-pointers made this season, closely following prominent players from Vilnius 'Rytas' and Klaipeda 'Neptūnas'. This replacement could reshape the competitive landscape of the sniper contest, further heightening anticipation for fans as the date draws closer.
