In a significant development regarding the case of Iwona Wieczorek, a young woman who went missing in Poland in 2010, investigators have revealed that new material evidence has been uncovered in the Tricity area. Prosecutor Eryk Stasielak, head of the Organized Crime and Corruption Department in Małopolska, announced that a specialized analysis of this evidence is currently being prepared, which may shed light on the long-standing unsolved case. Furthermore, the investigative team is actively interviewing additional witnesses to gather more information as they progress with planned procedural actions in the coming days.

As part of the ongoing investigation, prosecutor Tomasz Boduch, who has experience with cold cases thanks to his work in the X Archive, will be traveling to Sopot next week. The support of specialized personnel from the Criminal Terrorism and Homicide Division of the Warsaw Police has also been enlisted to assist Boduch in this essential task, enhancing the investigative efforts.
