A leisure educator in Umeå, Sweden, has been arrested following allegations of sexually harassing a student, with the investigation beginning after another employee reported the suspected misconduct in November. Authorities seized several storage devices from the educator's home, which revealed troubling content, including child pornography. The arrest was carried out in absentia and later confirmed on Monday.

According to prosecutor Jennifer Piironen, the seized devices contained hidden photographs of children, leading to additional charges of illicit photography along with the initial allegations of sexual harassment against the child. While the prosecutor refrained from commenting on whether the images included students from the school, she mentioned that the suspect has admitted to taking the pictures, raising further concerns about the extent of the alleged misconduct.
