A. Žvagulis, who opened a new pizzeria, talks about lessons from his famous father: 'He is very demanding'
Entrepreneur Ą. Žvagulis is opening a new pizzeria in Vilnius, showcasing a wood-fired oven and a variety of offerings beyond pizza, despite the challenges of the small space.
Ą. Žvagulis, a well-known entrepreneur in Lithuania, is venturing into the food industry once again by opening a new pizzeria in the heart of Vilnius. With a passion for hands-on involvement, he is personally overseeing the construction and setup of the restaurant, which includes a traditional oven fueled by firewood. Alongside pizza, the pizzeria will also offer dishes like slow-cooked ribs, catering to diverse tastes and suggesting a focus on quality and authenticity.
Despite the clear vision for his new establishment, transforming a 17-square-meter area into a fully functioning pizzeria presents significant challenges. Nevertheless, Ą. Žvagulis draws on his previous entrepreneurial experiences and successes, having built multiple businesses around Vilnius. The support of others, including actor and television presenter Audrius Bružas, also plays a vital role in addressing the practicalities of the project, such as the construction of an essential chimney for the wood-fired oven.
Aside from his latest venture, Ą. Žvagulis has a burgeoning portfolio that includes a food truck, another pizzeria, a kindergarten, nursing homes, and a Wake park, showcasing an ambition that extends beyond the food industry. His journey illustrates not only his resilience in the face of challenges but also a commitment to family and community, as seen through his collaboration with his wife and friends in various projects throughout the pandemic era.
