With limited leads available, the police decided to actively surveil the location for weeks in search of the suspect, culminating in this innovative undercover operation.

The officers disguised themselves as lion dancers participating in a festival at a nearby Buddhist temple. This creative strategy allowed them to blend in with the celebratory atmosphere, enabling them to get closer to the suspect without raising suspicion. On the evening of the arrest, police captured video footage showing the moment when the lion dancers approached the suspect, culminating with an officer swiftly emerging from the costume to take him down with assistance from others.
