Abdul Razak Saloom Al-Jubeir, a Syrian child, became the center of attention on social media after he was heard screaming from a narrow well in the western countryside of Raqqa. The incident prompted the Syrian Civil Defense team's immediate response to initiate a rescue operation, which lasted around six hours. Videos of the rescue efforts circulated widely on social platforms, highlighting the urgency and the challenges faced by the rescue teams.

The Syrian Civil Defense reported that their teams arrived at the well in the Alexandria area near the city of Tabqa in Raqqa province. They commenced the rescue operation by supplying oxygen to ensure the child's safety while maintaining communication with him to offer reassurance. The rescue teams utilized various methods, including pumping oxygen and communicating with the child, while simultaneously conducting excavation efforts to reach him safely and quickly.

The child had fallen into a well approximately 30 meters deep, which posed significant challenges due to the narrowness of the well limiting the available rescue options. Ultimately, the rescue teams devised a plan to pull the child out using ropes, showing their commitment to his safe retrieval despite the difficult circumstances. The incident not only underscores the risks children face in such environments but also highlights the efforts of civil defense teams in crisis situations in war-torn areas.
