On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti, Shivneri Fort in Pune experienced an overwhelming gathering of people. Young participants and activists from various parts of the state converged at the fort, carrying the "Shiv Jyot" for darshan. This significant influx of visitors not only celebrated the birth anniversary of the historical figure but also highlighted the ongoing interest and respect for his legacy in contemporary society. Unfortunately, the sheer volume of the crowd led to a panic-like situation in certain areas of the fort. Although there were safety measures in place, the uncontrolled crowding raised concerns about the management of large gatherings, especially during such cultural events.
