Latvian startups are experiencing growth and contributing increasingly more to the economy, with an increase in revenue, employment, and tax contributions.
As of the end of 2025, there were 569 startups operating in Latvia, highlighting a trend of growth in a sector that is becoming increasingly significant for the national economy. While the overall number of companies in Latvia has not seen substantial growth in recent years, the contribution of startups to economic activities has surged, including revenues, employment figures, and tax income. According to data for 2024, the total revenue generated by these startups reached 610.5 million euros, marking a 15% increase from the previous year.
