TV Republika Outpaced Everyone. Tomasz Sakiewicz Has Reasons to Be Proud!

A report by the National Broadcasting Council examined the coverage of drone attacks on Ukraine by various news stations, concluding that all outlets complied with broadcasting laws.

The National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) released a special report analyzing the programming of various news stations in Poland following a massive drone attack on Ukraine on September 10, 2025. The report scrutinized over 120 hours of broadcasts from outlets including TVP Info, TVN24, Polsat News, Telewizja Republika, and wPolsce24. According to KRRiT, there were no violations or abuses identified, confirming that the programs adhered to broadcasting regulations and did not disseminate content harmful to public health or safety.

Agnieszka Glapiak, the chairperson of KRRiT, emphasized that during such a significant attack by Russia, the media played a crucial informative role. The report noted that the stations repeatedly urged calm and reliance on official sources, warning audiences against misinformation. It highlighted how, amidst a serious geopolitical crisis, the media maintained a focus on factual communication rather than contributing to political rivalries.

This commendation of Polish broadcasters, particularly TV Republika, reflects a broader context where media plays a pivotal role in national security and public information during crises. The KRRiT's findings not only validate the responsible reporting practices during an emergency but also serve to bolster public trust in these media outlets as reliable sources of information in tumultuous times.
