U2 has shared new music ahead of the release of their upcoming full-length album, presenting an EP titled "Days Of Ash." This new collection includes five tracks, among them "American Obituary," "The Tears Of Things," and collaborative efforts with artists such as Ed Sheeran. The EP serves as a powerful reflection on recent global tragedies, drawing inspiration from stories of individuals fighting for freedom and addressing themes of loss and resilience. Notably, three of the tracks focus on personal narratives involving a mother, a father, and a teenager, highlighting the impact of conflict and loss on families.

According to Bono, one of the band's members, the creative process for "Days Of Ash" was invigorating and offered a fresh thematic direction compared to the full album they plan to release later this year.
