The Special Cell of Delhi Police has apprehended notorious sharp shooter Mahfooz Ali, popularly known as Bobby Kabootar, along with his girlfriend Khushnuma Ansari. According to police reports, Khushnuma has been assisting Bobby, who has been on the run for several years, by maintaining vital connections with gang members. Her role has shed light on the increasing participation of women in the criminal underworld, particularly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi-Hashim Baba gang, startling investigations even further.

Bobby, a 45-year-old with a decade-long record in Delhi’s crime files, acquired his moniker due to his interest in keeping pigeons in the Chauhan Bangar area of Northeast Delhi. This alias later became synonymous with his activities in the criminal realm. Police reports indicate that he was wanted in at least six murder cases, highlighting the severity and reach of his criminal undertakings.

Beyond Bobby's arrest, the involvement of Khushnuma in his operations reflects broader social issues concerning gender roles within criminal organizations.
