More Irap on the energy sector. Solar, revolution incentives
New measures have been introduced regarding incentives for photovoltaic plants aiming to alleviate system charges and manage resource allocation in the energy sector.
The Italian government has introduced new interventions affecting incentivized photovoltaic systems exceeding 20 kilowatts, aimed at freeing up resources and reducing bill charges. These measures present two voluntary options: one involves the reconfiguration of existing incentives, reducing the premium tariff by 70% or 85% for the years 2026-2027 in exchange for an extension of support for an additional three to six months. The alternative option allows firms to exit the system by 2028 with a compensation amounting to 90% of the remaining value of incentives, provided that the firm undertakes a complete renovation of the system, effectively doubling its production capacity.
