Man attempted to clean his gun in Vilnius accidentally shot himself in the hand

A young man accidentally shot himself in the hand while attempting to clean his legally owned firearm in Vilnius, Lithuania.

On Wednesday, police reported that a young man born in 2002 sought treatment at a Vilnius hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the hand. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening around 11:50 PM at his home on Titnago Street, where he was trying to clean his Astra CUB pistol.
