The 2026 season of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) continued with the Rally of Sweden, known for its snow-covered stages, which present a significant challenge for drivers. Mexican driver Miguel Granados, alongside Spanish navigator Marc Martí, performed admirably, finishing fourth in the WRC Masters Cup and 28th overall out of 48 competing crews. Competing in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally 2, prepared by the Mexican team VP Garage, Granados tackled 18 timed stages throughout four days of competition on snow, showcasing his driving skills and resilience. Despite a solid start to the rally, two minor errors during the race resulted in a cumulative time loss of seven minutes, which impacted his overall classification.
