The Korean Handball Federation celebrated 'Brand Day' at the H League matches with traditional fan events during the Lunar New Year.
The Korean Handball Federation (KOHA) held a 'Brand Day' event in collaboration with RingTee and PrettySkin on February 15-16 at the Olympic Park Handball Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, prior to the H League matches for the 2025-2026 season. This initiative aimed to engage fans during the celebration of the Lunar New Year, featuring various traditional games such as 'Jegichagi' (a Korean foot shuttlecock game), 'Tuho' (an arrow-throwing game), arm wrestling, and feeding a traditional snack to a wooden pole, creating an exciting atmosphere for families attending the event.
During the event, attendees had the chance to win prizes including 1.5-liter recovery drinks and lemonade provided by RingTee, along with masks and hand creams from PrettySkin, enhancing the festive spirit of the occasion. The KOHA expressed the intention to not only showcase the dynamic excitement of handball but also to share the joy of the holiday with fans, highlighting the cultural significance of the event alongside sporting activities.
A KOHA representative emphasized their commitment to collaborate closely with sponsorship partners to create more engaging experiences for fans and strengthen the handball fandom in Korea. This event exemplifies the growing integration of cultural festivities with sports, aiming to attract more spectators and foster a vibrant community around the sport.
