The recent Carnival holiday in Ecuador's ManabΓ province saw local cantons Manta and Portoviejo achieve remarkable economic gains, with a total revenue of $20.5 million reported. Manta led the way with an impressive $15.5 million, attributed to the influx of 310,000 tourists who flocked to the region for its stunning 14 beaches, rich culinary offerings, and a diverse array of sports, cultural, and musical events.
