The Commissioner of Police, CP Bassey Ewah, provided these details in an official statement, highlighting the urgent nature of the situation.
In response to this unfortunate event, the police have deployed tactical teams, including the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit, to the site to analyze the circumstances surrounding the gas exposure. The authorities collected soil, rock, and mineral samples for further analysis as part of their investigation into the causes of the incident.
