The Mexican government has unveiled a new protocol for activating a national search alert aimed at enhancing the immediate response to reports of missing persons. This initiative intends to initiate necessary actions across the country without delay, ensuring that reports of disappearances are addressed as swiftly as possible. The protocol, published in the Official Diary, stipulates that the activation of the alert will result in the issuance of a search notice, which will be disseminated broadly via media channels, airports, restaurants, customs, hotels, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, prisons, and social networks. Notably, the use of artificial intelligence will also be employed to ensure that postings related to missing persons go viral, thereby reaching a larger audience.
