The 2026 Rio de Janeiro Carnival results have kicked off with the unveiling of scores for the front commission category, in which samba schools Beija-Flor, Grande Rio, Salgueiro, Vila Isabel, and Viradouro earned the highest marks. The evaluation was conducted by 54 judges, of which only 36 envelopes were opened to disclose scores. The front commission evaluations were carried out by judges Claudia Ribeiro, Tayná Vieira, Paola Novaes, and Rafaela Riveiro, among others, setting the tone for the competition ahead.
