The Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) saw a rise after two days of losses, driven by anticipation surrounding the fourth-quarter corporate earnings reports. The main index, S&P/BMV, which tracks the most traded stocks, increased by 0.62 percent to 71,598.53 points shortly after trading began. Notably, shares from Grupo México, a mining company, led the gains with a 3.24 percent increase to 201.99 pesos, while media giant Grupo Televisa gained 1.26 percent to 11.23 pesos. Conversely, shares in Walmart de México were among the worst performers, declining by 0.81 percent to 58.58 pesos ahead of its upcoming quarterly report release.
