The Government of Catalonia, led by Salvador Illa, has partnered with the Comuns party to enhance rental assistance programs and address sexual health needs. Under the new agreement, the income threshold to qualify for rental aid will be raised from 25,000 to 36,272 euros, with the initiative set to allocate an additional 107 million euros over the next two years. In addition to the rental assistance increase, the agreement includes provisions for a new 25-euro voucher designated for menstrual products and condoms, aimed specifically at young individuals aged between 12 and 25 years.
