Last Thursday, 110 men and women donned their military uniforms to refresh and sharpen their skills at the Markstridsskolan in Kvarn. This is reported to be the largest group of reservists that the Helicopter Flotilla has trained in recent times, highlighting a significant increase in military preparedness. Captain Robert Daremo, who leads the 313th Ground Defense Company, noted a positive atmosphere among the participants, despite the challenging weather conditions with temperatures around -10 degrees Celsius and snow.

The reservists expressed enthusiasm about the training. Johan Schlyter, for instance, indicated excitement about participating in the exercise again, even if the conditions were typically cold. Emma Bäcklund, who completed her conscription in 2010, admitted to having missed out on war group courses but felt it was time to re-engage with her military skills and responsibilities. This training session serves as an important opportunity for reservists to contribute to national defense readiness and enhance their military capabilities.
