While the book, which blends elements of autofiction, contains both factual and fictional aspects, it is confirmed that the account of Hytönen's cancer is true. The book details that he underwent surgery to remove his prostate, after which he experienced complications such as urinary incontinence, highlighting the significant personal impact of his health struggles.

At 83 years old, Hytönen recently spoke to Ilta-Sanomat about his life while reflecting on turning 80 just last August. He shared his mixed feelings about aging, acknowledging that the number associated with his age can be daunting. However, he reinforced his active lifestyle, remarking that despite being an elderly man, he still feels fit and capable, emphasizing his commitment to maintaining his health and well-being.

Additionally, Hytönen and his long-time partner, Heidi Strömmer, reminisced about their enduring relationship, which has spanned over two decades since they first met on June 1, 2000.
