During his visit, he will meet with the commander of Germany’s 45th Armored Brigade "Lithuania," further solidifying collaborative defense efforts in the region. Additionally, the agenda includes an inspection of the strategically important Rūdninkai military infrastructure development project.

General Raimundas Vaikšnoras emphasized Norway's significant role in not only deploying forces in Lithuania but also contributing to the security of NATO’s eastern and northern flanks. This includes activities from air defense and policing to active support for Ukraine and enhancing security in the Nordic region.
