The UK Met Office has issued an extension of its yellow snow warning as 32 areas prepare for several inches of snow, potentially affecting roads, rail services, and power supplies. The severe weather is expected to start on Wednesday afternoon and last into Thursday morning, with predictions of up to 15cm of snow in some regions, which may lead to dangerous travel conditions and leave vehicles stranded. There are also concerns for rural communities that could be isolated due to heavy snowfall.
