Royal Mail has issued a warning to residents in four postcode areas, indicating that their mail deliveries will be delayed due to ongoing disruptions in the road network. The postal service aims to maintain its commitment to deliver mail six days a week across the UK. However, recent disruptions have affected service in over 100 postcodes, raising concerns about consistent delivery schedules for residents.

The issues impacting delivery are attributed to a combination of factors, including high levels of sick absenteeism and resourcing challenges in local offices. As of February 16, a total of 38 delivery offices reported delays that collectively affected 105 postcodes. Royal Mail has acknowledged these complications and is working to rotate deliveries to minimize disruption, although in some local offices, service may temporarily be hindered.
